The Challenge
Open Communities uses multi-select picklists to track relevant protected classes during intake of housing discrimination cases.
Native reporting on this multi-select picklist is extremely limited, and when stakeholders needed insight into monthly call volume by protected class, Open Communities had no easy solution. They were often tallying call volume by hand to generate metrics.
The Solution
Open Communities, as a 501c3 NonProfit, qualified for MultiSelect Reporting’s 100% NonProfit discount and installed the app in early 2025. The Salesforce admin independently set up a simple MultiSelect Report that fed into a call volume dashboard.
With key call volume metrics no longer requiring manual tallying, Open Communities saves valuable admin staff time every month.
